This regular, full-time teaching position for the 2018-2019 school year is at Kingman Unified School District's Black Mountain School, which is a K-8 grade school in Golden Valley, Arizona. Under the leadership of Principal Duane Scofield, Black Mountain is committed to academic excellence. Together with families and the community, the staff and students work toward clearly focused educational goals and strive to establish and promote high expectations that advance rigorous learning, character development and productive citizenship for all students. As a teacher, you will have a 148-day contract and will work a four-day week (Monday through Thursday), leaving you time to enjoy long weekends with family and friends. Depending on your education and experience, your initial salary placement will range from $33,000 to $42,900. In addition, you will be eligible to earn $5,000-$7,000 in 301 money. As a 21st Century School, extra earning opportunities also exist for after-school programming.
