Substitute teaching can be a challenging, yet highly rewarding job. Although it takes a lot of enthusiasm and hard work, you can build a set of skills that will help you become an expert substitute teacher. If you are looking for job flexibility, days full of fun and variety, and enjoy investing in students, then substitute teaching may be for you!

Earn $120 per DAY working as a Substitute Teacher for Kingman Unified School District or work part-time as your schedule permits.  We have a Monday through Thursday 4 day school week so you can enjoy every long weekend off. This position is not eligible for medical benefits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree for Substitute Certification good for up to six years or high school diploma, AA, or college credits for an Emergency Substitute Certificate good for one school year.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued through AZ DPS - $67 payable to AZ DPS plus a processing fee
• Substitute Certification or Emergency Substitute Certification from ADE - Arizona Department of Education

Steps:

• Official transcripts will need to be sent either electronically to ADE at certification@azed.gov or by mail to ADE Certification, PO Box 6490, Phoenix, AZ 85005-6490 OR if you need to take the ParaPro test, please contact me at 928-753-5678 EXT 2011 to get a study guide and to schedule to take the test.
• Once your IVP FCC has been processed, you will need to meet with HR to fill out the application for substitute certification through ADE - $60 fee paid to ADE - and to begin employment paperwork. 
• It generally takes three to four weeks to receive certification. We will need to meet once certification has been issued to go over the substituting process and to finish up any paperwork.
