Summary/Objective
Perform clerical duties of a varied and diverse nature, requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures. Duties may include a combination of answering telephones, typing, and maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
Essential Functions

- Respond to all internal and external customers, as it relates to position, in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner.
- Communicate with staff, students, parents and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and receive and refer complaints.
- Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents, as assigned.
- Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
- Review files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Maintain and update filing, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
- Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
- Arrange appointments.
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all policies, regulations and rules.
- Perform related duties as assigned in a safe and prudent manner.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
At Will Notice of Employment does not provide a guarantee of a particular schedule of work, or a minimum number of days or hours.
This is typically a 10-month, 40-hour per week position. Employee will work ten hours per day Monday through Thursday during core business hours. Extended work hours to meet deadlines may occasionally be required.
