Summary/Objective
Coordinate student academic achievement programs.
Essential Functions

- Respond to all internal and external customers, as it relates to the job, in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of 21st Century Community Learning Center Programs at the project site.
- Ensure project staff establish and maintain procedures to adequately document program activities and services.
- Provide high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and their families.
- Ensure children selected to participate are notified and registered.
- Coordinate instructional, non-instructional, volunteers, and students who are participating.
- Assist 21st CCLC District Coordinator in implementing district-wide PD, evaluation and programmatic activities.
- Collaborate with community partners and staff to provide appropriate extra-curriculum activities that achieve academic and social outcomes.
- Facilitate regular staff planning and program refinement sessions to achieve continuous improvement in project activities and impact.
- Acquire additional services and supports for program participants, as needed, to achieve project goals and impact.
- Participate in the identification of students who will participate in the After-School program.
- Recruit and enroll students to meet grant average daily attendance requirements.
- Identify and train volunteers, parent liaisons, and community partners to implement academic, recreation, and enrichment activities under the District Coordinator and grant guidelines.
- Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings to provide information and updates on the program.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations, public agencies, local universities, and city agencies.
- Work with District Coordinator to collect data necessary for program evaluation.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all policies, regulations, and rules.
- Perform related duties as assigned in a safe and prudent manner.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
At-Will Notice of Employment does not provide a guarantee of a particular schedule of work or a minimum number of days or hours.
This is a 12-month, 40-hour per week position, typically working Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for medical benefits. Some evening and weekend work required. Extended work hours to meet deadlines may occasionally be required.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree
- Experience planning, organizing and administering programs
- Experience working with children in an educational environment
Required Certifications/Licenses
Valid driver's license
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
